Olio Piro's producers win at the 2020 Japan World Olive Oil Competition

   


Anteata Frantoio receives the gold award at Olive Japan for the second year in a row.                         .       As one of the most important markets for olive oil in the world, Japan hosts an international competition since 2011, with a panel of judges recommended by the Olive Oil Sommelier Association of Japan. It holds the highest standards of integrity and professionalism in awarding medals to the best oils from around the globe.

This year again, with their exclusive high phenolic content blend and with a harvest protocol using exclusively traditional methods, Romain Piro and Daniele Lepori, the Tuscan producers of Olio Piro. impressed the Japan world competition judges again with their groundbreaking 2019 high phenolic blend and were awarded the gold medal, for the second year in a row.
