Piro. was honored to be the Extra Virgin Olive Oil for the magnificent press dinner of Greatest Tomatoes from Europe concluding the Winter Fancy Food Show 2022.
Eighty journalists, writers, chefs, bloggers and influencers were treated to a 5-course, tomato-centered meal by chef Diego Puddu, all finished with yours truly, Olio Piro.
On the Menu: Burrata Pugliese e Pappa al pomodoro, Paccheri with cherry tomatoes and Parmigiana Reggiano 48 months, Risotto with whole tomatoes, scampi and lemon, Seabass with Mediterranean tomato guazzetta, Panna cotta with sweet tomato coulis and basil.
The lavish giveaways included a bottle of Piro. and products from Urbani Truffles, Cipriani Food, Pasta di Martino and Parmigiano Reggiano USA.
