Olio Piro Shines at the 43rd Annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen

Food & Wine Classic in Aspen

The Food & Wine Classic in Aspen—widely regarded as the most iconic culinary festival in the country—returned from June 19–21 for its 43rd year, and Olio Piro was proud to be part of the experience.

The weekend transformed Aspen into a vibrant hub for best-in-class culinary talent and hospitality leaders. The 2026 festival featured an unprecedented lineup of industry heavyweights, offering attendees:

  • Over 60 culinary stars
  • More than 80 cooking demonstrations, wine seminars, and panel discussions
  • 5 Grand Tastings
  • Food and drinks from 150+ winemakers, chefs, distillers, and hospitality groups

The Food & Wine Classic remains one of the rare venues where consumers, professionals, and industry collaborators can converge to candidly exchange ideas, debate opinions, and share visions for the future of food and beverage.

A Convergence of Culinary Icons

This year’s presenter lineup was truly spectacular. It featured renowned figures such as Bobby Flay, Tyler Florence, Maneet Chauhan, Tiffany Derry, Danny Garcia, Gregory Gourdet, Stephanie Izard, Shota Nakajima, Ayesha Nurdjaja, Phil Rosenthal, Chris Shepherd, Nancy Silverton, Brooke Williamson, Claudette Zepeda, and Andrew Zimmern.

The festival also welcomed exceptional first-time speakers, including Arjav Ezekiel, Owen Han, Victoria James, and Lynnette Marrero.

Chef Andrew Zimmern and the Industry's Verdict on Piro

For Piro, the weekend was full of strong connections and conversations. Throughout the festival, friends and collaborators stopped by our table to say hello and share their enthusiasm for our extra virgin olive oil.

We were especially proud to have acclaimed chef Andrew Zimmern (@chefaz) taste Piro during the festival. His enthusiastic reaction was one of the most memorable moments of the weekend.

Throughout Aspen, some of the world's most respected chefs, restaurateurs, and food professionals experienced Piro for the very first time, and the feedback was extraordinary. Hearing chefs praise not only the flavor and balance but also the freshness, complexity, and craftsmanship behind every bottle is the highest compliment we could receive. These are professionals who taste the very best ingredients in the world every single day, making their endorsement especially meaningful.

To everyone who stopped by our table, shared a conversation, and experienced Piro—thank you. From our family groves in Tuscany to Aspen, we are honored to be part of the conversations shaping the future of great food.
