The Piro. team was honored to host the South Florida Chapter of Les Dames d'Escoffier for an Olive Oil tasting masterclass lead by master miller Daniele Lepori and Piro's producer, Romain Piro.
The interactive event included a presentation of the story of Piro. and its unique production process, the benefits of consuming Extra Virgin Olive Oil and tutorial on recognizing good olive oil. It was followed by a guided tasting experience of the freshest harvest of Piro, during which our guest could learn to recognize the three main attributes of premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil : Bitterness, Fruitiness and Pungency and discern the subtle aromas and flavors or our premium oil: green almonds and hints of tomato leaf and cinnamon with notes of grassiness and spiciness.
An exciting and educational event where our guests could enjoy learning about Extra Virgin Olive Oil and had the opportunity to exchange one-on-one with the makers of Piro.
